The Certified Performance Leadership Coach (CPLC) certification program is targeted at leaders, HR practitioners and professionals seeking to be an ICF (International Coaching Federation) credentialed coach. The aim of the program is to equip learners with the core coaching competencies to coach at the individual and team level so as to enhance performance and achieve organisational goals. 

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗣𝗟𝗖 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 was the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗖𝗙-𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 coaching certification program in Singapore to receive 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, underscoring its recognised training quality while making essential coaching skills more accessible to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents. 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗣𝗟𝗖 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘀𝗶𝗱𝘆.

 

The CPLC certification is accredited by International Coaching Federation (ICF) under the ACC Level 1 pathway, for those pursuing the ICF ACC (Associate Certified Coach) credential.  

 

COURSE STRUCTURE

There are 4 modules that learners would need to complete under the Certified Performance Leadership Coach (CPLC) certification program as shown below:

Total Program = 75 contact hours (Coach-specific Training and Enhanced Mentor Coaching session)

• Module 1: Coaching for Performance and Capability Development (CPD) - Coaching Foundation
• Module 2: Emotional Intelligence (EQ) for Transformational Leadership (EQT) - Transformational Coaching
• Module 3: Team Leadership for Performance and Results (TLP) - Team Coaching
• Module 4: Enhancing Coaching Capabilities through Reflective Practice and Mentor Coaching (MCR) -  Enhanced Mentor Coaching

 Certified Performance Leadership Coach (CPLC) Program Overview

This program is structured to provide learners the flexibility to complete the modules at their own pace. However, learners must complete all the 4 modules in sequence (3 coach-specific training modules and enhanced mentor coaching sessions) to earn the “Certified Performance Leadership Coach” certificate.

Using a scaffolded learning approach, learners will first complete Module 1, which covers the foundations of coaching, including core coaching skills and processes. After building this foundation, they will progress to Module 2, which focuses on transformational coaching. This module develops the learner’s ability to “Coach the Person” by helping the coachee become aware of the internal obstacles that may be preventing effective decision-making and change.

Taken together, Modules 1 and 2 equip learners with the skills for effective one-on-one coaching. In Module 3, learners expand these capabilities to one-to-many coaching, which is particularly valuable for leaders and team coaches who aim to strengthen team performance and support organisational outcomes. Finally, in Module 4, learners will integrate, apply, and demonstrate the competencies gained in the first three modules, while receiving feedback from peer learners and a mentor coach.

Successful participant will receive a "Certified Performance Leadership Coach" certificate accredited by ICF under the ACC Level 1 pathway.  Individuals who are pursuing the ICF ACC credential can complete the rest of the credentialing requirements at their own time. Participants will also receive a CPLC Digital Badge which is a verifiable representation of the individual’s accomplishments, skills, and competencies, promoting recognition on their social media e.g., LinkedIn profile and for professional growth.

COURSE FEES

The program fees for this ICF Coach Certification program is listed below.

• Note: All pricing are in Singapore dollars.  Fee stated is per participant price and subjected to change.

All modules are eligible for SkillsFuture funding*. The net fee payable after the training grant subsidy is reflected in the table, based on each trainee's eligibility. 

Self-sponsored participants may use their SkillsFuture Credit (if available - Initial Available Credits portion only but not the Mid-career portion) to pay for the net fee.

*Participants who are Singapore Citizen (SC) or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) are eligible for SkillsFuture Training Grant Subsidy . Participants are required to meet the minimum attendance requirements and to pass each of the modules to be eligible for the subsidy.
